The Laboratory of Industriality is a research and practice-oriented platform that deals with the objects of industrial heritage. It aims at discovering the industrial heritage in the small cities across Urals, training local professionals and initiative groups, and developing tailored approaches to work with industrial heritage.
The Laboratory of Industriality is part of the project Industriality and Culture, realized by ZA ART Center for Support and Development of Contemporary Art, with the support of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation.
The First Stage includes a desk study that reveals the most interesting and potentially productive projects.
The Second Stage includes field trips across Chelyabinsk, Tyumen, Perm and Sverdlovsk regions to research and collect applications on site.
The Third Stage is a three-day educational session, where international professionals and experts of the federal investment and charitable institutions share their knowledge and experience.
