The idea for this performance was born at the Louvre Museum in Lens, a mining town in north of France, where industry stopped. One kilometer of red fabric was scattered over the gardens in the form of an infinity symbol. This action emphasizes the role of the art institution in the preservation of art—in conquering time and achieving immortality. The industrial landscape of Satka has redefined its meaning. It emphasized the connection of natural mine rocks with immortality.
